# Creating a Domain

A domain can be seen as a set of definitions that are grouped by theme. Depending on an organization's department, you can have a domain made of commercial definitions and another domain grouping financial definitions. To create a domain simply access Domains & Definitions:

STEPS

  1. Access the menu option Domains and Definitions.
  2. On the left side of the CoB platform interface, you will find a column for domains. Click in the "+ Domains" button.
  1. Assign a name to the new domain.
  2. Save it and you're done.

TIP

You should see your newly created domain available on the menu bar. In case there are already too many domains in your server, it is highly likely that your domain will only be reachable by clicking on top of a "MORE" link.

To add already existing definitions to the domain:

  1. Select the definition you wish to add on the list of definitions available on the right side of the platform interface.
  2. Keep the left mouse button pressed over the definition and drag it into the domain.
