# Changelog of a Record

If you happen to make a mistake while updating - i.e., editing - an already created record but you're not really sure what was the error or even when you did that update, you can easily check any changes recorded in the history of the specific record.

To access the history of changes made to a record, you just need to click on the purple button titled HISTORY that is located on the lower right corner of an instance window, below all the field groups:

Once you click on the button, a list of changes previously made to that record will immediately appear.

Each log entry will include:

  • The name of the user responsible for the change;
  • The nature of the change - i.e, if it was a mere change in the data record values, if new fields were added or if any values were deleted;
  • A brief explanation of the change;
  • The day and time when it occurred.
