RecordM - Business Processes
RecordM's "Business Processes" customization allows the platform to specity business processes, manage task assignment and automate work. For users, a business process is a uniform description of the work that must be performed, represented as a sequence of tasks. However, before RecordM can handle management and operatives can register their tasks in the platform, it is first necessary to specify a business process. This specification should be done by someone familiar with the business at hand, so that it is as correct as possible.
Regardless of how this process is conceived, its specification in RecordM will usually follow these steps:
- Create a definition with a state. Instances of this definition guide the work to be performed, which in turn advances their state. For example, in a job offers and recruitment platform, the main entity is the job application - the recruitment process is initiated for each one of them.
- Create a
Business Processinstance where the tasks to perform will be aggregated - Define the work queues that make up the work and take the instance from its initial state to a final one.
