Overview

Training content is divided into three areas: Users, Administrators, and Developers. Each area is in turn subdivided into four parts: tutorials, how-to guides, references and explanations.

Target Audiences

The first area is for common users. Here the entry requirements are minimal and the student is only expected to be able to use a personal computer with the help of a mouse and keyboard.

The second area is aimed at administrators such as operational managers and system administrators. As such, the student is only expected to have business knowledge and be able to work with Excel spreadsheets. In this area it is possible to find the resources needed to improve a previously existing solution.

The third and last major area has been designed with software developers in mind. In this area it is possible to learn how to perform customizations with a variable degree of specificity and complexity on the client servers hosted on the CoB platform. Besides presupposing previous exposure to the contents included in the user and administrator areas, it is also assumed that the student has previous knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The main goal of this area is to lead the student to understand the workings of the architecture of the CoB platform and how to build full-fledged web applications on it.
