Working with processes

Introduction

RecordM enables teams to manage their work processes. Often times, operational teams have to perform a series of sequential tasks which evolve the state of their work. New tasks may become available as one progresses through the possible work states.

The "Business Processes" customization of RecordM is meant to provide:

  1. A specification of each work process in full, with a matching visual diagram.
  2. Automatic assignment of tasks and work progression.
  3. Work-related statistics (such as average time to perform a particular task).

The goal is to streamline work such that the focus is on the work itself and not its management. Due to the data-centric nature of most operations, this meshes well with RecordM's main function.
